Classes and Testing

COVID-19 Notice

Due to COVID-19 conditions, in-person classes are temporarily suspended. In-person exams are continuing while meeting the state mandated protections.

We are working diligently to produce online versions of license classes and other subject specific classes .

Classes and testing sessions are made possible through collaboration with CDCA, Klamath County Emergency Management, Klamath County CERT, and Klamath County ARES.

The proceeds of these classes go towards CDCA’s education programs.

EC-001 Introduction to Emergency Communications
$20 (requested donation)

The EC-001 course materials are developed and produced by ARRL who owns all rights to these materials. The instructor is an authorized and appointed ARRL Field Instructor.

Exam Sessions

Our exam team will be providing Amateur Radio License exams ($15 VEC fee) and EC-001 Exams ($0) on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5 PM to 7:30 PM at the Klamath Community College, 7390 S 6th St, Klamath Falls, OR 97603 in building 6.
